The Mountain Top Historical Society (MTHS) in Haines Falls, NY, is seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team for the summer of 2025. This unique opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in local history, museum operations, and public engagement. Perfect for anyone, from graduating high school seniors to retirees!  Stewardship Details Starting date: May 21 Paid: $20/hour (approximately 10 hours/wk) Hours: Primarily weekends with some initial weekday training sessions. Location: 5132 Route 23A, Haines Falls, NY 12436. Responsibilities: Serve as a docent at the historic 1913 Ulster & Delaware Train Station on weekends. Welcome and assist visitors to the MTHS and the Kaaterskill Rail Trail. Develop knowledge of local history and the Northern Catskills region. Handle sales and donations at the train station museum. Contribute to the overall mission of the MTHS. Qualifications: Strong interest in history, particularly local history. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
